I would suggest that the best way to do this is to pick a few colleges (not all at once as it would be confusing) and start networking. The schools are definitely in demand, but they aren’t all the same.

This is a good way to get ideas of what is going on and how much work is expected of each candidate. If you do this you can also see how well a school is doing at recruiting new hires.
