Discretionary fiscal policy is a policy decision made by a government that’s either leftovers from the past, or that has an uncertain future. If you’ve ever thought of government as a set of discretionary spending decisions, then this should be a good primer for the importance of discretionary fiscal policy.
To see how much discretionary fiscal policy I need to know some more about what’s going on. This is a really good primer that’s not just to look at government policies and decisions, but to look at something else that is clearly going on.
Discretionary fiscal policy is a very broad term. Government may be left in place long enough for there to be a legitimate need for the government to be in place. In our case, this simply means that we have a government that is simply unable to pay for things it is supposed to pay for. This is a very common problem in government because it is often the case that the government is in place for a long time and the government can’t pay for things it is supposed to.
For example, for all of the above reasons, the government is not able to pay for the police department. We have a police department which is a very necessary government function, but we cant pay for it with the money we have. So what do we do? We simply leave it. In our case, we simply leave our government in place, so that it can pay for itself.
The government we have in place will be able to pay for itself. In other words, we have a government which is capable of paying for itself.
We have an “independent” government because we have a government which is independent from government. So we have a government which is capable of paying for itself, even if we don’t.
So what you really are saying is that the government we have in place will pay for itself, but we dont have the money to pay for it with. This is because we actually have the money to pay for ourselves. We just have to leave it in place in our own government, so that it can pay for itself.
We have an independent government because we have a government which is independent from government. So we have a government which is capable of paying for itself, even if we dont.
