For example, Coca-Cola is a brand but it’s also the name of a product. In the case of product advertising, the difference is made by the advertising. The product is the name of the service, and the service is the name of the product.
I think the term product advertising is a bit more used in the marketing industry, but the term institutional advertising is more commonly used in the consumer service industry. It’s a less loaded term.
Basically, institutional advertising is when a company advertises to its customers the value of a product or service. It isn’t a product, but it is an advertising service.
Although it should be noted that the term product advertising is still quite popular in the corporate marketing world (more so than institutional advertising). It is the term used by the mainstream media to refer to the “product” being advertised.

I have not found a company that has not made a product advertisement. I can think of a few that have been successful, but not a lot of companies. The most well known one is Pepsi Cola. They advertise in magazines, newspaper adverts, radio, tv, and even billboards. They advertise all over the place. It is their marketing tool. The other is Coca-Cola. They make their adverts and then sell them to the public.
In the United States, Coca-Cola has a pretty big presence in marketing and advertising. They do many things, from ad campaigns to TV commercials to newspaper advertisements to print ads online. They also have a pretty large media presence, if you want to go down a bit of a rabbit trail. They have a website, and an app for their products, as well as one for their company (and their fans), the Coca-Cola Fan Club.
