This quote from The Value of a Job is one of my favorites. I think everyone should read it at least once. And if you’re hiring for a job that doesn’t fall into the category of “do something you love”, you should probably change your resume to fit your current position.

If the purpose of your resume is to impress the employer and get him to hire you, then you should probably change it to fit your current position. If youre hiring for a job that doesnt fall into the category of do something you love, then you should probably change your resume to fit your current position.

I once read an article that essentially said that if you want a job (especially as a software engineer or programmer) you have to be willing to do what others are not willing to do. If youre willing to do what others aren’t willing to do, youre probably not that good of a person.

Just because of what youre doing about your life doesn’t mean you are not good at it. You have to be willing to do what others will not do.

The fact is when you go to work for a company you have to put up with the company thinking that you will make it all the work. And if you don’t put up with that, nothign to be the boss.

And the fact is you have to put up with the company thinking that you are doing it all for them. Thats why most companies only hire people that can handle their own work.

As another example, if you work in an insurance company, are you going to have to put up with the company thinking that you can help them through the claims process and all the rest of it? No way. No company wants that. For each claim, you have to put up with the company thinking that you are doing it all for them.

So, if you are an employee of a company, you are constantly being presented with the idea that you are a liability. You have to put up with the company thinking that you are doing it all for them. Thats why most companies only hire people that can handle their own work. As another example, if you work in an insurance company, are you going to have to put up with the company thinking that you can help them through the claims process and all the rest of it.

The company you work for is a business. It’s what you do for them that matters. A lot of times, the only way people get jobs at companies is if they are willing to work for free. But they have to be willing to work for free to get a job at a company. So, if you’re an employee of a company, you have to have a job that you are willing to put up with because you’ll be spending most of your time doing it.
