In a world where technology is advancing at an incredible pace, there are only so many ways that we can measure our health. There is no need to measure our blood pressure, heart rate, or blood sugar levels. All we need to do is think about how to measure ourselves. By taking a look in the mirror every morning and seeing what we’ve done there, we can accurately track how we’re doing.
This is in direct contrast to our medical practice where we measure our blood pressure by auscultating a blood pressure cuff and measuring our blood pressure reading using an electronic blood pressure machine. In this case it is the auscultation that counts, rather than the measurement we choose. The auscultation is just a convenient method that works well for some people, but we are trying to change the way we measure our blood pressure.
We are not the only ones interested in measuring blood pressure. A medical practice called the “Blood Pressure Clinic” that works exclusively in the United States offers a test that measures blood pressure with a cuff. The test is so accurate that you can get a blood pressure reading of zero millimeters of mercury. In this way we are competing with the blood pressure clinic.
It’s also a great excuse to get in a good sweat and go on a hike. This is a great example of the power of marketing to get people outside the office. It’s the best way to motivate yourself to get out of the office on a regular basis and just be outside, even if it is only for a few minutes, and walk around.
The point is not that the test is accurate, but that it is a reliable way to get blood pressure readings. It can be used to gauge hypertension, high blood pressure, and other ailments that are difficult to measure with one-off measures.
There are also a myriad of other health-related applications of the measuring tape. You can also use it to measure anything from heart rate to the amount of food you are consuming. It’s great for measuring exercise, too, as well as helping people with mobility issues or people who are unable to walk. It’s also great for measuring mood and other mental states.
