goal displacement is when you make the choice to do something for the wrong reasons. For example, you might want to do something that contributes to the happiness of another person or will make you feel better about yourself. And the result is that you find yourself doing it for the wrong reasons. This could be a good time to look at this and let the whole process guide you. It would help me to think about it more as a little bit of a life lesson. I feel like I’m always changing my mind, and I don’t want to be the one thinking about the next thing. Maybe I’m thinking about things I can’t change. Maybe I’m thinking about a bad idea, or a bad idea that is not what I want to change.

Im not sure if goal displacement is always a bad thing to do, but I do know that the more you think about it, the more it seems to be a bad thing. Because when you keep going in this way, that is when you can feel like you’re changing the wrong things.

I feel like goal displacement is a bad thing to do because at first you want to change things, and then you end up changing the wrong things. Even if you make it to the top, you still end up changing the wrong things because you don’t make it far enough to change the right things. You still want the same thing you had, but you want different things. Maybe you want to change your job, but you don’t want to change the job that you have.

It’s a little strange to think of goals being a good thing that a person wants to change. Even if you think it can be a good thing, you can never change it.

I’m with you. Goals are great and all, but when you think about it, they can be changed very easily by anyone. Sometimes even yourself.

One of the main goals of goal-confusion comes from the idea that if you think about your goals and the way they relate to other goals, you can see what direction they should be going in. Just think about the last time you thought about the goals you wanted to achieve in a certain way and then made them clear to yourself.

Goal-confusion is what happens when you don’t keep your goals separate. You end up thinking your goals are one and the same with other people. You do what you want to happen, no matter what anyone else wants you to do.

Think about the last time you did something for no other reason than you had to. You might have been trying to get something out of it (like a new promotion, or a new car). You might have been trying to win a soccer game or beat someone at something.
